Hands down one of the most nerve-racking & most exciting photoshoots I get to do is proposals! This one was extra sweet because my dear friend Madelyn was the one getting engaged! To know Madelyn is to love her—she is generous, thoughtful, joyful & courageous. Even if she’s a few years younger than me, she is a woman I look up to! To see her & Taylor embark on this new journey is so exciting! My advice to newly engaged couples is always this—make space to truly take in this sweet season of engagement—it’s fun & can go by so fast! Enjoy every moment , have fun planning a party for all your favorite people, & remember that at the end of the day, you’re building a future more than a wedding.

For Taylor & Madelyn, this spot is special to their story (they carved their initials into that swing before they even started dating) and after stopping for some coffee (peep the last photo & coffee cups by their feet 😂), Taylor took Madelyn back here to pop the question! After she said yes, we stuck around for some more photos, until a Georgia summer downpour sent us running to our cars!
